Karyopharm Compliance is looking for a high energy, innovative Compliance professional to join our team. The Director, Compliance Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing the systems, processes, training and oversight for several key compliance areas, most significantly the Physician’s Open Payments Act (Sunshine Act) and associated state laws. This position will report to the Chief Compliance Officer, and will be located at our headquarters in Newton, MA.
The successful candidate will have experience implementing and/or managing Physician Open Payments reporting requirements and have knowledge of standard industry systems and processes used in capturing and reporting company payments to covered recipients. The successful candidate will also have experience creating and implementing training and auditing to ensure data quality and the effectiveness of the system implementation. The successful candidate will lead a cross functional team of internal and external stakeholders to implement an efficient, accurate reporting process consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
This role will also be responsible for certain core compliance activities such as managing/monitoring our hotline, training system tracking and analytics, the creation of compliance program presentations, messaging and communications and other tasks as assigned.
