Role Overview & Key Functions:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Analytics Lead with a strong background in statistical analysis, data modeling, visualization, reporting, and predictive modeling. The ideal candidate will have experience in leveraging a variety of data analytics tools including data science, machine learnings and programming languages to analyze large datasets, draw insights, and support decision-making processes.

  • Lead the development and implementation of sales force strategies, including targeting, field team sizing, and incentive compensation plans, to drive sales productivity and improve business performance.
  • Guide and develop analytics for all commercial activities and departments, providing actionable insights and recommendations for eaffective decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, while mentoring team members to support individual and team success.
  • Leverage data and insights to clearly communicate the health of the business, while providing strategic guidance for growth and improved business outcomes.
  • Design and implement field operation needs, such as CRM, power BI reporting, and targeting lists, to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain the highest standards in commercial data, reporting, and analytics, while proactively sharing insights to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with various functional stakeholders, such as Sales, Marketing, Patient Support and Services, Access and Reimbursement, IT, and Finance to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of commercial strategies.
  • Manage relationships with data vendors, ensuring the quality of final products and maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Support commercial initiatives and product performance assessment with relevant analytics and insights.
  • Support the development of the company's Data Warehouse and reporting capabilities, supporting pre-launch planning and launch execution.
  • Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards for various internal stakeholders, utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze multiple data sources, KPIs, trends, and market events to provide strategic insights on business performance.
  • Process, analyze, and visualize patient claims data, providing reliable reporting on key metrics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of brand's performance to senior management and the broader commercial organization.
  • Use predictive modeling to enhance and optimize business outcomes.

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Director: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, or data science.
  • Senior Director: Minimum 10–12+ years of relevant experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Experience supporting biopharmaceutical commercial organizations, including sales, marketing, market access, or patient services analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex data into actionable insights to support commercial strategy, performance reporting, and launch readiness.
  • Proficiency with SQL and analytics programming languages (Python or R) and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing applied data science projects.

  • In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $205K to $280K per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors

* This position is eligible for remote/hybrid working arrangement (may work from home/virtually; may also work hybrid on-site-virtual as required/approved by hiring manager.
